3(MAH) AIRFORCE NCC

 

 

NCC, National Cadet Corps, Air Wing is a youth wing of the India Armed forces aiming to empower the younger generations.

          The NCC 3 (MAH) Air Force Pune allotted 50 seats to Chhatrapati Shahu Vidyalaya in the year December 2020, the only CBSE school in Kolhapur District to start with NCC Air Force.

          The NCC provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities with distinct emphasis on social service, discipline, adventure training, parade, camps and rifle shooting. After successful completion of written exam and drill exam the cadet receives ‘A’ certificate.

 

          This year our school`s best four cadets got an opportunity to sortie (flying) in SW- 80 microlight NCC aircraft at Khadakwasla Pune, it was a thrilling experience for the cadets. They played a role of co-pilot with Group Captain RS Jadhav.
